In Jan. of 2021 I released my album called 'CONNECTIONS' featuring 32 different world class musicians playing on 9 arranged and produced original compositions. It took a year and a half to complete the final release.

My idea was to release something that was polar opposite to that.

This new release in contrast features just myself at the Steinway D creating 5 spontaneous improvisations in two separate live sets.

These 5 improvisations were performed in two straight through sets at The Kitchen Recording Studio using 2 pairs of Earthworks mic's (QTC 40's and QTC 50's) and one Neumann U87 and performed on a Steinway model D concert grand.

Tracks 2,3 and 5 were performed in one set and tracks 4 and 1 was performed in a second set. The order was changed for this release. Other than that there are no edits.

My goal in releasing these improvisations is to provide a new view for the listener into my musical universe and to bring them along on my journey.
